Description
Teratophoneus lived in Laramidia (the isolated Western part of North America) around 75 million years ago. It's a tyrannosaurine, closer to Tyrannosaurus than to other gracile tyrannosaurs like Albertosaurus.
The skeletal incorporates the type specimen, but is based on a second specimen that is more complete and has a lovely skull. Those of you who attended the Laramidia symposium at SVP this year probably can guess more about this specimen.
Edit: Some minor updates to the silhouette to bring it into line with current thoughts on soft-tissue reconstruction.

The description says it's a member of the Albertosaurus/Gorgosaurus (Albertosaurinae) lineage but all sources I've seen says it's a Tyrannosaurine.
