Description

Apatosaurus excelsus, the species originally described as Brontosaurus. While not quite as obscenely robust as Apatosaurus louisae, it's still not an animal you'd want to step on your toes.

Edit: I'd almost forgotten about this skeletal during my sauropod overhaul. Since this is the animal that really started America's sauropod love affair (it was Diplodocus for much of the rest of the world) I hurried up and cranked A. excelsus through the update trials. Should have looked up this sucker before I asked you if you had plans to do a Brontosaurus skeletal.  Ah well, live and learn. ^^;
